When it comes to making money on the Internet, having a successful marketing strategy that works is your key to success. You can have the greatest product the world has ever seen, but if your marketing strategy is wrong, you will fail.

Your ability to sell products and services through your website must be built upon a successful marketing plan that's based on keywords that generate traffic to your website. Keywords are absolutely crucial to the success of your web business.

It seems that everyone today is interested in making money on the Internet. With the promise of easy money, fast millions, and overnight success, thousands of people flock to the Internet, hoping to make it big - instantly.

With their enthusiasm and hope of starting a new Internet business, they often fall prey to online scams that tell them they can get rich with no effort. They later realize that an Internet business takes work and effort just like any other business.

What most people, especially beginners, do not realize is that's not products and services that make you money, but MARKETING. Marketing is defined as the systematic planning, implementation, and control of a combination of business activities that are intended to bring buyers and sellers together for the purpose of exchanging or transferring products and services to the mutual benefit of both parties.

Article marketing can be defined as systematically writing articles, specifically for the World Wide Web, for the purpose of driving visitors or traffic to your website. For successful selling, the subject of your articles must be written based on keywords. Keywords are words or phrases that people type in a search engine box for information on that particular keyword or topic.

For example, if a person types in the keyword phrase "hotels in Paris" it indicates that this person is interested in that search term or keyword. This is important because in order for you to sell products and services at your website, you must build your website around keywords that describe or are relevant to your product and services.

Do not write articles that read like a sales pitch or ad. Your articles must be written in an informative, newsworthy format, if you want readers to consider them interesting. The title should contain your keyword, and your keyword should be sprinkled throughout your article in a way that flows naturally when the person is reading your article. This is how your website receives traffic - through keyword-rich articles that are based on the theme of your website.

Once the person reads your article, and if he wants more information, he should be able to click on the link at the end of your article. This link should lead the reader to your website's landing page. Your landing page's theme should be related to the keyword from your article.

The only thing that's left to do is make a sale. That's the job of your landing page (sales letter) - to convert your readers into buyers. If your landing page convinces the reader to the point where he must have your product or service, then your article has done a great job in bringing visitors to your website to make a sale.

If your keyword-rich article writing strategy direct visitors to a compelling landing page or sales letter website that converts visitors into buyers, then you will be on your way to making a lot of money writing articles that sell.
